KB0041 – Edge Webdriver download url

Issue : Webdriver download fails

Applies to : Webdriver only. Promenta PCA app is not affected.

Detail :

Promenta previously  used download url containing msedgedriver.azureedge.net domain for webdriver downloads.

This url was decommissioned by Microsoft in January 2025.

It is replaced by url msedgedriver.microsoft.com

Fix :

In ini file , replace :

<WD_AutoUpd_URL>https://msedgedriver.azureedge.net/[WD_EdgeVersionFull]/edgedriver_win64.zip</WD_AutoUpd_URL>

with
<WD_AutoUpd_URL>https://msedgedriver.microsoft.com/[WD_EdgeVersionFull]/edgedriver_win64.zip</WD_AutoUpd_URL>
