User Guide
Send-to-Workflow* : This button will submit the journal to the Promenta journal solution running inside your SAP system for workflow approval. Workflow is built-in with Promenta.
Post to SAP* : This button will submit the journal to the Promenta journal solution running inside your SAP system for direct posting.
Park in SAP* : This button will submit the journal to the Promenta journal solution running inside your SAP system for direct parking.
Validate : This button will cause all the data of the journal to be validated against your SAP master data in real time.
Status : This button will check the current status of the process – eg if the file is already posted, if it is in workflow-approval etc. It will also import any posted document numbers.
Inbox : This button will open your Promenta Inbox to review sent and pending requests
Template Manager : This button will open the Template Manager to enable journal templates to be downloaded
Change template : Add and Remove Fields : These buttons will allow you to add or remove additional journal fields to your template. For example you could add the Exchange Rate field to your template .
Logoff : This button will disconnect you from SAP and close the PCA app
Help : This button shows additional technical information. V4 allows reload of Addin configuration
* All buttons can be configured to be hidden or shown. Normally a customer would not have the Send-to-workflow active along side the post/park buttons and vice versa.
